Do you remember the excitement of opening a new pack of cards as a kid? I had to bring back some unboxing moments, and as a mom I can tell you: my daughter Lara was thrilled, and she still is. She is discovering each card and collecting them one by one.
It all started when my friend Kat (@RedKatLife), a longtime VeeFriends collector, introduced Lara and me to these fun cards. And I loved the box we received!
Lara is 10 and already loves collecting Pokémon cards, so VeeFriends fit her age perfectly. But this project takes each character to a different level: every one of them spreads a positive message to kids.
What is VeeFriends?
VeeFriends is a family entertainment brand created by Gary Vaynerchuk. It is built around a big cast of animal characters, each named after a positive trait: Patient Pig, Gracious Grasshopper, Accountable Ant, Selfless Sloth and many more. In our box we found Secure Sparrow, Forever Phoenix and Fearless Fairy, and Lara fell in love right away.
Kids can collect them in many ways: Topps Chrome trading cards (the 2026 set is out now), Super Stickers and Mini Stickers, minis, pins and plushies. There is also a trading card game for kids who like strategy. Best of all, there are free comic books to read and watch online, and a VeeFriends cartoon on YouTube.
Why I love it as a mom
These cards are enlightening. Each character carries a lesson about kindness, patience or courage. It is collecting with a message.
Lara just got an A+ in Biology! She does not love math yet, but animals, weather, nature… she is so into it. A world of animal characters fits her perfectly, and I respect her timing.
From NFTs to cards in her hands
For my longtime readers, this one connects back to our NFT days. VeeFriends began as NFTs, and those collections still live on the blockchain today. Now the same characters are something a child can hold, trade and treasure. I love seeing the digital and physical worlds meet like this.

What's next for us
We are coming back for the FREE comics, and hopefully we will become real collectors soon. We are just waiting for this season to pass.
Thank you, Kat, for bringing this joy into our home! 🧡
Meet the furry collectors 🐾
Kat's house has its own VeeFriends fan club! Tiggy proudly guards her Series 1 Cheerful Chipmunk card, and Puma is reading Comic #2. And did you know the very, very, very, very lucky black cat is the VeeFriends logo? Black cats have an unfair reputation for bringing bad luck, but here the black cat is the lucky one. Puma might just be our good-luck charm.
