Exploring Liteverse.io: The first NFT marketplace on the Litecoin network with my first collection dedicated to the Mighty Mia Event #dancingforjoy + Quick Sign up and funding tutorial

As one true OG  Litecoin   enthusiast, I wanted to test the site, or better, the NFT marketplace  Liteverse.io  since its launch in 2022. At first, I claimed Litecoin Summit collectors NFT. But, for several reasons, the test of minting my first NFT got a bit delayed. But now I finally have the time and the need to make use of it for a larger cause. I am sad I procrastinated a little. As it would have been a great honor to be the first one to give it a try, but given my lack of technical skills to use just code to mint outside of a marketplace, waiting was a great idea since the site is super user-friendly and it's quality has improved considerably. I would say Liteverse.io is ready for the mainstream. Minting on it or acquiring an NFT on the Litecoin network is now a Piece of cake! In this article I will describe my experience, the reason why my first series of NFTs was created, and most importantly the advantages and disadvantages of creating an nft (Non-fungible To...

Mommin' It Monday - Stream 26 - Special Guest The Voice Dec 21st, 2020

Today we had a special guest in our Mommin' It Monday live stream, AKA "The Voice" talking about cybersecurity and sharing with us important safety tips that can help us stay away from scammers. I learned so much!

He addressed a few pointers and tips that can help us be aware and avoid having contact with con artists, phishing scams, and hackers. He also talks about the tactics these bad elements use and the sort of emotions these criminals want their victims to feel in order to get their virtual hands into the funds. Once they are in contact and can confuse us enough, truly anyone can fall victim to a scam. It is in the heat of the moment, the emotions we feel and recognize, that can save us from being "rekt".

Watch it Here:

1. Seed phrase (Write it down and keep it in a SAFE place of your choice)

2. Encrypt passwords

3. Create a different password for each account you create

4. Do not share your seed phrase and password

5. Do not leave your coins on the exchange (exchanges get hacked, passwords get hacked, they can also go out of business)

6. Limit access to your devices

7. Do not drop off your device to "Service" with cryptocurrency in it.

8. Do not respond to random texts and emails even if they seem to be from a legitimate source at first glance. Scammers are getting smarter and they love impersonating people, so make sure the email, the handle, the source of information matches with its original. Avoid clicking on links from those emails as some links carry viruses and malware that will give the criminal access to your computer data.

9. Be calm even you receive a notification that scares you. It is important to validate that the information you are receiving is correct before acting on it.

10. If you belong to groups, be suspicious of anyone from the group that contacts you in private. It is always best to verify if the private information you are receiving is correct in the actual public group.

11. Practice good computer hygiene by backing up your files regularly, including backing up your wallet.

Several other tips were discussed in the video, based on each scenario. The Voice did an excellent job of educating us today.

Truly when online we must be suspicious of everyone unless proven otherwise. Not the other way around!

Hope this stream can educate folks out there about few safety measures that can reduce their risk in a meaningful way. Nothing is foolproof so be careful out there.

All my best
