As the Brave Browser gains market share, with over 10 million users worldwide, we can be certain that competitors are watching. Microsoft made it clear today that it has not only been watching Brave footsteps and how fast the browser is gaining user base. But also showed that the giant is willing to counteract and provide more privacy and rewards for their Edge Browser users.
Even though the Microsoft rewards program is quite different and the privacy features are way more limited when comparing to the Brave Browser. The recent strategy by Microsoft proves that the big names in the tech industry will not allow Brave to distinguish itself in the privacy realm for too long. They will try to blend in with similar marketing strategies but with a lower quality product. A product that in my opinion offers less to its users.
When users call it out companies adapt and change in the privacy direction is always good. Above is a new and proper headline by Microsoft describing its new commitment to Privacy in browsing. Are they telling us what we want to hear just because we are more Aware NOW? Are the features below matching up to the Brave Browser Privacy capability? In my Opinion I do not this so.
Savvy computer and smart phone users know the difference between the two browsers. Users online point out that the Microsoft Edge Browser is far from meeting the features of the Brave Browser. In regards to Privacy the Edge Browser is nothing more than is a simple incognito mode, technology available to users since 2010. As it claims it will give users visibility of how the browsing data is collected but overall the data is collected anyways. In addition, the Microsoft rewards program is just a revamp from the existing and confusing Bing Rewards program that never grew in user base. Basically the Edger Browser does not block the ads. The user in this case is not rewarded for seeing ads but rather rewarded for using the Bing search. How often do you actually search? In my case, not many times a day. But when you do a relevant search Bing will be able to collect that data and serve ads in exchange. Unlike Brave, Bing and Microsoft will continue to profit on searches and data provided by user..
Another diference between the two programs is how to get paid. With Bing Rewards users can only donate, or cash out using gift cards. With Brave Browser users not only have a variety of ways to earn but they can also cash out using BAT tokens, Bitcoin, other cryptocurrencies as well as send the value in cash directly into their bank accounts. A very simple payment process with KYC verification that is enabled in over 50 countries.
How about using both? For anyone looking to take advantage of both rewards programs simultaneously it is possible using the Brave Browser. Just type bind within your Brave Browser search box and take advantage of them both knowing that your data is protected when you set your privacy modes under Brave Browser settings.
Many people around the world are enjoying the great advantages of using the Brave Browser to navigate the internet using their computers, smart phones and tablets. Do not waist any time and start accumulating BAT tokens that can be easily exchanged into cash. It is a simple transition that brings a little more privacy and a little more cash rewards into your day to day life. Spreading the word is the key and I am doing just that: Here is my Referral Link.
