Exploring Liteverse.io: The first NFT marketplace on the Litecoin network with my first collection dedicated to the Mighty Mia Event #dancingforjoy + Quick Sign up and funding tutorial

As one true OG  Litecoin   enthusiast, I wanted to test the site, or better, the NFT marketplace  Liteverse.io  since its launch in 2022. At first, I claimed Litecoin Summit collectors NFT. But, for several reasons, the test of minting my first NFT got a bit delayed. But now I finally have the time and the need to make use of it for a larger cause. I am sad I procrastinated a little. As it would have been a great honor to be the first one to give it a try, but given my lack of technical skills to use just code to mint outside of a marketplace, waiting was a great idea since the site is super user-friendly and it's quality has improved considerably. I would say Liteverse.io is ready for the mainstream. Minting on it or acquiring an NFT on the Litecoin network is now a Piece of cake! In this article I will describe my experience, the reason why my first series of NFTs was created, and most importantly the advantages and disadvantages of creating an nft (Non-fungible To...

My Top 5 Crypto Apps

It is truly magical to witness the crypto currency industry evolve. Today, I am able to utilize of the blockchain technology and use cryptocurrencies thru 5 Apps I downloaded on my phone.

In 2017 and 2018 we saw a large number, or better, an overwhelming number of ICO projects without a product or solution. But in 2019, as I test the apps and the technology around them I am able to pick few apples from the bunch. Furthermore, in this article I want to showcase my top 5 phone apps and their functionality.  Some enable me to earn, others to send and receive as well as spend cryptocurrencies. Isn't that so cool? If I use all of them in my daily life I truly get a sense of what a crypto economy really is. From earning and storing all the way to spending in cryptos without the need to convert it back to cash.

1. SPEDN by Flexa

The SPEDN app enables its users to directly spend their cryptocurrencies in a variety of retail stores in the USA. Users can transact using 5 crypto currencies as of today Bitcoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ether, Gemini dollar and soon Zcash. The users can spend in crypto using the app on several registered retailers. Some of the big names are: AMC Theaters, Baskin Robins, Bed Bath and Beyond, Game Stop, Nordstrom to name a few. an innovative app that uses simple digital gift card technology while converting the crypto currency into cash at point of sale.  It is simple, the app generates a gift card in the value specified by the shopper, the card is purchased with crypto currency and is then presented as a form of payment to merchant. Very similar to kick back discount apps such as ibotta but ideal for anyone looking to spend in crypto.

2. SENSE CHAT

Sense chat is a messenger app build on EOS blockchain. the app combines video and text messaging with a token account enabling users to send and receive EOS and SENSE tokens. The sense chat also provides unmatched privacy features. According to their site, without a central server user data is not stored, allowing users to have voice and video conversations that are truly private. the app is already functional and available to use. Sense Chat is becoming super popular among young users concerned with privacy as many understand the value of their metadata. Therefore if you no longer can get a response from a friend at what's up give Sense Chat a try as you may locate the friend there.

3. BRAVE Browser

The Brave App is a more secure and private browser than the current available options such as Safari and Google Chrome. I have been using in both my computer and my phone and I am enjoying its features. The Brave app is faster and more secure since it blocks trackers, malware and pop ups that are automatically enabled in other browsers. The user has the option to place a privacy shield which can be customized by the user. In the future it is known that Brave plans to implements its ad rewards options for the phone app as well. Currently enabled for the brave computer browser the ad program rewards its users for their basic attention, using the Basic Attention Token (BAT). Once rewarded users can use the funds to reward their favorite sites with a BAT tip as a token of appreciation. Truly an amazing concept and a fully functional system that brings an attractive proposal to users.

4. DropBit

DropBit App is a crypto wallet that stimulates Bitcoin adoption using text. It is very simple to use and one of the best ways to introduce non-coiners to Bitcoin. The main reason is because with dropbit Bitcoin can be send to anyone in the USA with a phone number without then previously having them download the app. By eliminating one step the person will be more open to receive Bitcoin from a friend or someone they know or trade with.  The app is fun and truly gives anyone an idea of how Bitcoin p2p really works. In addition, the app also offers education, an Bitcoin ATM locator as well as the option to purchase crypto using credit cards and gift cards.

5. LIFE  APP

the last app but not the least app that I use quite often is the LIFE APP. It works similarly to ibotta and few other rewards apps, however the Life APP not only offer a higher kick back percentage on most retailers, it also offers the option to withdrawn your rewards in cash or cryptos. The rewards accumulated on purchases using life app can either spend on the app, cash out as gift cards, cash out to bank account, or cash out in crypto directly to a Coinbase account. In addition to offering rewards, the apps features educational material, financial advice, membership services with higher reward percentage brackets and more. A fun experience for anyone looking to accumulate small bits of cryptos. an example of a reward would be a 3% kick back offered I recently earned on my last trip to Home Depot. On check out, I generated using my Life APP a gift card for the exact amount of the purchase, and completed my check out with the instant gift card generated by the app. The clerk scans the bar code with the gift card pin and a receipt is generated just like any other purchase. Super simple and very rewarding

If I ever questioned if it is possible to survive using crypto only... I would say that these apps makes me one step closer. In my opinion it is truly just a matter of time. What about you? Do you have any fun apps you enjoy and would like to share? Make sure to leave a comment and share your thoughts.
